Same amount of rings as your faggotrons in the modern era.  I will admit, they are great at bullying around a lesser league.

In all seriousness, I think this does speak to how impressive the Braves run was.  They managed to avoid an injury plagued season, a hot division contender, etc for 14 seasons.  Now they didn't do enough in the postseason with only one WS ring, but it's harder to reel off that many division titles than I think some people think.  To me, this years Phillies team is evidence of that.

The Braves run of 14 divisions wont ever be seen again by any of us in our lifetimes. Their run of 5 pennants in 8 years probably wont either, especially with the additional WC team. The Phillies had a cute little run, but they got old real quick, and they never had the organizational strength to stay on top anyway.

I'll tip my cap to regular season excellence over anything that happens in Bud Selig's tournament.

Yeah, I was enraged at that call for awhile, but then I remembered tdub and I calmed the fuck down.

I agree completely. My Cardinal hate is quickly reaching my Yankee hate.

The Cardinals are the Yankees without the villainous panache. Read, they're boring as fuck.

The Cardinals are also the anti-Yankees in terms of success. They barely squeeze into the playoffs and then win the World Series while the Yankees dominate the regular season and then set records for offensive shame.
