I think SD's Comi-Con has definitely grown way too big, it's definitely way more than just Comic-related stuff, it's become more pop culture.
With Wizard, it's funny how they've tried to become this franchise Con-producer since the failure of the magazine. They've bought the rights to all these Cons in different cities, yet, haven't produced many of what they've acquired, notably Atlanta, where Dragon-Con is king.
Of all the stuff you mentioned that's coming this year, I'm looking foward to Man of Steel the most. It has so much potential to deliver the Superman movie that's been needed since the Marvel movies have taken hold.
